The Launching Ceremony of Tongkun Beibu Gulf Green Petrochemical Integrated Industrial Base (Phase I) Project with an annual output of 600,000 tons of styrene, was recently held in Santun Area of Qinzhou Port.
The project, with a total investment of 51 billion yuan, will be mainly for the construction of three subprojects and related supporting facilities, including 600,000 tons of styrene, 2.8 million tons of aromatics and 5 million tons of PTA. Among them, the total investment of Styrene Project (Phase I) with an annual output of 600,000 tons is 2.5 billion yuan. The Tongkun Beibu Gulf Green Petrochemical Integrated Industrial Base Project, with an annual output value of about 65 billion yuan and tax revenue of about 3.2 billion yuan after operation, will complement the insufficiency of aromatics, downstream PTA and polyester industry, promote the high-end green chemical fiber industry layout of “Oil, Dacron and Chinlon”, and enhance the development of surrounding textile industry.
